Had a great day yesterday. With the help of my wonderful wife and son, we sat around playing games with 40 of the nicest kids for 3 hours.
The best part about the party was my new friend - Matias. He is a six year- old boy who quickly became my best friend. During a lull in one of the games I was running he came to me and pointed to my flower and said, "I like your flower." I pointed to his ear and said, "I like your ear." He then grabbed my ear and said."I like YOUR ear." Anyway, this went on for about 15 minutes. After that he followed me everywhere I went. During the last 15 minutes of the party the two of us sat on the grass playing some silly game involving clothes pins and jars. I had him laughing so hard I thought he was going to explode. He had the deepest and funniest laugh I have ever heard come from a six year-old boy. By the end of the party, he had ME laughing so hard that I had tears in my eyes and my stomach hurt.
